| Tag 10155 - Lot A: We're
starting the fall bulls with a very special calf. His dam was
purchased as the lead cow from the Jorgensen Angus mature cow
dispersion. Lot A calved at the sale barn the next day. He
and his dam were subsequently hauled from South Dakota to Nebraska, and
a few weeks later from Nebraska to Illinois where his dam was placed in
an Embryo Transplant Program. At weaning, Lot A was then hauled
from Illinois back to Nebraska to participate in the PMB fall test
group. His performance, both at weaning and through the test, was
excellent. When one considers the miles traveled, it was
phenomenal.
