Calves are raised without creep to allow the environment to select the most profitable cattle from a maintenance standpoint. The use of the breed's best A.I. sires, along with our own bulls, allows for accurate comparison of progeny. Extensive use of performance data, both on the hoof and on the rail, is tied together in making breeding decisions. Bear Creek cattle have been competitive at the Midland bull test and Treasure Test, as well as at PMB. Females are sold private treaty and through consignment sales. The greatest satisfaction comes from knowing the cattle are profitable for their new owners. The use of new technology and genetics is explored constantly and used wherever practical and profitable in our operations. Visitors are welcome anytime. Contacting Bear Creek Angus Ranch :
